Colt's Birthday

There had been a countdown around here for Colt's big day! They had all been watching for it on the calender and he wouldn't let us cross that day off for the rest of the month! He was having a party that day at  a bounce house place and from the moment I woke him up that morning he stood as quick as he could and with sleepy eyes says, "quick we have to go, we don't want be late the bouncy place." We all had a quick laugh at him and got him to understand it wasn't quite time yet.

The traditional birthday window and hanging goodies.
Livy was his helper all morning, she was as excited as he was!

A boy bike! Thanks Grammy and Poppy!
He loved helping me bake the cake for his party. Later at the party he was talking to his friend and she said she was hungry, he told her, I can make you a cake, I know how.
The finished birthday cake, he was pretty happy with it!

Bouncy place with kids his age that aren't in school yet. Livy and Rae got to cut for a few hours and loved every minute of it!

Happy birthday Colt!!
JJ loved the cake as much as Colt and said a few times to him, that is a cool cake!

A quick pick before the cake and no smile for me but JJ had a great smile!

Forced smile because the three year old punk refused to smile for the camera today!

Having fun as the big brother with is besty Ellie!

It was a fun party and great birthday for Colt. He did this last year for his party and wanted it again this year, and big surprise, he wants it again next year!

That night we got to go to a birthday dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. Here is Grandpa babysitting while we wait for a table. Trapped them in the revolving door! They had it spinning really fast at one point and some people played along trying to run through at their speed, it was another good laugh!

Colt with a gigantic piece of chocolate cake which happens to be my favorite ever :) Over joyed and happy with his cake and singing.......

Until he had to share some! Poor birthday boy, he just didn't understand why he had to share the enormous cake. As you can see he still had a huge piece left!

Again he didn't want to smile for the camera :)

Happy Birthday Colt, we sure love you buddy!

I hope you had a great day! You are such a great kid with a super fun personality. I am loving hearing you talk about the world and all the things you have to say about it. You crack me up, and of course like any three year old little boy, drive me crazy sometimes! I love you so much and I'm glad you are such a mama's boy, I'm loving it! Happy birthday Colt!

Hi, its fun to catch up on all the cute pictures of your kiddos. Poor Colt was struggling with Sunbeams today, when you left the room he started bawling. :) I hope he starts enjoying it soon!
