At School with the Girls

Kindergarten 2012

It's all still new to me this whole school thing so for now I am loving when I get to go volunteer with the girls class. This was at an art class mini museum I helped with. I love seeing them interact with their friends, getting to know all the kids in their class and grade and most of all seeing them so excited to see me! I love that part most :)

Even though she has a serious face I love this pictures. Livy is an awesome big sister and always trying to make all the other kids happy and entertained.  She surprises me everyday with how selfless and imaginative she can be for them. She is always thinking and half the time I don't think she is listening to me or a show and then she spouts it out later or asks an awesome question about something she heard. Keep it up Liv, always thinking!

She loves to play on the Ipad, teenage mutant ninja turtles, skylander giants, to run, to draw, and puppies are still a favorite.

Some work from October when they had open house at school. I can't believe how even since these pictures how much her writing, reading, and spelling has improved. She is really loving school and learning  she soaks it up and can't get enough, she wishes for more homework.

Livy: "Do you know why I'm so perfect to be a ninja turtle? Because they are always hungry and I'm always hungry too."

Livy and I at their Thanksgiving party/activity. What a sweetie!

This little fashionista is growing up too quickly. Clothing and shoes are becoming a major deal already. She is  daddy's little girl and wants to hang with Eric whenever he's around. She loves to do what he says is cool and help him pick his clothes out. Your maturity, vocabulary, and understanding still catch me off guard Rachel, ever since you could speak!

She loves Justing Bieber, coloring, snuggling, her cat, barbies, polly pockets, and of course puppies! And how could I forget, clothes! She just recently started wearing jeans and cowboy boots and loves them!

Rachel loves to compliment me on all of my store bought cooking. Rolls from a bag, cereal, cookie dough from a bucket, etc. She tells me I make the best homemade rolls! On real things I cook she usually says dad makes them better, so I don't correct her and I take what I can get!

Way to go Rachel! She had a lot of struggle with writing at first but has done so amazingly pushing through and really blossoming since this in the beginning of the school year. She has done a great job working at it and practicing even when it was so hard and now loves being able to write and spell some things. Her skills really amaze me when I see how they have changed!

Rachel drew this one day when she was home sick. A picture of our family. I love those.

Mommy and Rae at her Thanksgiving party. I love getting snuggles from my happy little girl!
