April started with field day at school for Rachel and Liv! I remember field day being the best day of the year, I don't know if they loved it that much but it was fun watching them do some of the fun events they have set up for them.

Easter and General Conference fell on the same weekend this year and it was kind of neat having all that special stuff together.

After Easter our friends the Heitmanns came to visit and we went rock climbing. This was our first time going and Ellie was a little afraid to try but Colt totally loved it. He is always asking to go again!
We got to go to Texas BBQ and our favorite Pappasitos while they were here visiting, yum!
Dan made it in the picture but Declan got sick so we didn't get a picture of him with the kids. Always fun to see Karen and her family, see you in New York Heitmanns!
Colt read his first BOB book this month! He is getting so old and smart, I'm so proud of you buddy! He loves doing school work and especially math.

A benefit of Houston weather, early swimming! Eric is really great about going in the pool and letting them climb all over him. Me not so much, thanks for being a great Dad!
Grandma and Grandpa are on a mission managing the Bishop's Storehouse here in Houston. Luckily they let us come and help out whenever we want so it is a great opportunity for them to serve and a great example for them to see their Grandparents serve.

Colt at Kindergarten round-up! This boy is so excited to go to kindergarten next year! He got to see the classrooms and get his kindergarten bag, he is set!

One day Rachel told me Colt was being extra helpful, she said "you need to give him extra stickers today, he prepared our tooth brushes for us!" He put tooth paste on everyones brushes so they were ready for everyone that night! Cute boy!
