Rachel and Livy were over joyed to show their daddy their classroom and every single thing that is in the room! It was a very in depth tour and you guys are awesome at telling us all about your classroom and a day in kindergarten!
In kindergarten they have a reading program called "crown reader." If you read 50 books you get your crown and for every 50 after that you get a jewel on your crown. About a month ago the girls both got their crown! Livy got it a few weeks earlier than Rachel because she was so set to do it and read extra books on her own to get it done early. Rachel was happy to do one a day but at the end she got so excited and read the last 10 in three days! Way to go girls! That was a lot of hard work and we are so proud of you for completing it! There are only a handful of crown readers in their class so they felt great! Since then Livy has really been focusing on it and just got her jewel! She was so happy to so her teacher because no one else in class had a jewel yet. Way to set a goal and go for it Livy!
