Bug collecting is Colt's new favorite hobby. He loves walking around to see what he can catch. The lake house had tons of stuff for him to catch, roly polys and caterpillars were the favorites. Our backyard is a little disappointing for bug collecting. So Colt and I set out on a bug hunt during nap time one day. 30 minutes later we came up with one roly poly in his cup, but he was ok with that! 

He loves to tell me stories about robots, sharks, and monsters. True boy. 

After he was playing with my hair and smushing it around he looked at me and very seriously said "Your hair looks weird, you look not like our mom."

A little gem he picked up from Toy Story. Toots, waves his hand in front of his face and says, "woo hoo, just call me stinky Pete." He gets quite a good laugh from the girls every time.

You are such a fun and funny boy Colt! I love when I get to spend time with you and enjoy your sweet, funny, loving spirit!  And you are one great bug hunter!  

Colt started taking swim lessons a few weeks ago! He likes going now and improving so much! He is pretty motivated to be able to swim like Rachel-Livy this summer with no wings! He gets to take class with his cousin McKay some days and loves that. It is so fun to see them as little friends!

Other days he has fun with his friend Caroline in his class! 

The first few days he never cried but kept telling his teacher he was ready to get out of the pool. She asked him who she would play with if he got out? He looks around and then points to the kids standing on the bench. "umm....how 'bout those two?"

Way to go Colt! We are proud of your hard work! You are doing awesome!
