Two weeks ago Olivia, Colt and Ellie all got tubes put in their ears. They all have had so many ear infections so this was the best option to try and fix that problem for them. Every time they got even a little cold they would get an ear infection. The other problem besides the pain of ear infections is the fluid that comes along with the infection that stays in their ears for longer than it should, in our case, months longer than it should.
We got to do all three of them the same day. Luckily Grandma Brenda came with us to ease the recovery! The surgeries were super quick and they only used a mask to put them to sleep . Ellie and Livy woke up great with no crying. Livy just said they gave her some medicine that made her really sleepy.
Colt had a rougher time waking up and was crying and whining a bunch and just out of it. But no puking and everyone got over the anaesthesia pretty quickly. After a nap when we got home everyone was back to normal. Rachel came with us and was our great photographer again!
Here's hoping to healthy ears and better hearing!

oh man totally forgot about the surgerys. So glad they got them done and recoveries were quick. Hopefully they'll be able to enjoy NY and all the swimming they will do now. Without the ear infections. Good job mama. And love the post about Colt, so nice you got some 1-1 time. Love how he says "alert alert"...haha. Nice that the girls are starting to include him a little more. Cute kids!!
Jayden had to get tubes. A year and a half later, one infection. He's 2 1/2.
I can't imagine doing 3 at one time.
