4th of July weekend was pretty calm around here. We were planning on going to Eric's parents with everyone on Monday for a BBQ and swimming but a few hours before Rachel started throwing up. Yuck. So we spent the day at home swimming and cleaning up puke. She was a good patient though and the kids loved swimming with Eric.
Enjoying some watermelon by the pool. Eric went over to his parents and got some good food for us since we didn't plan any good food for the day since we were supposed to be over there. It was delicious!
Rae only came out for a bit to do some of those popper things that you throw on the ground and they make a loud pop. No fireworks for us this year because of the drought here but the kids didn't mind because they don't like the noise from them still.
They all had a little flag and we tried to talk about the holiday for a little and how grateful we are to live in this country.
My friend Tisha brought over this adorable 4th of July outfit for Ellie so we had to take a few pics. We didn't get to show it off to anyone but that's ok because I couldn't even button the back. She is growing quickly!
Miss Ellie, almost 4 weeks old. We sure are loving having her in our family!
