There has been lots of bug catching going on around here lately. Colt and Livy are obsessed and Ellie is starting in on it too. They are always outside trying to catch something in their nets and cages. Rachel doesn't really like to do it so she is still hooked on puppies and pretending to be my puppy or who ever will be her owner!
She makes up dog shows too. This is during one of her performances!
Livy's first lizard catch! They were all pretty excited about it!
See that white thing in the cage, it's cheese. They thought that this is what the lizard would want to eat while in captivity!
Ellie steals the cages and opens them. She has let go many catches including a frog in the car and roly polys in the kitchen.
It is just getting to that time again, swim time!
Trying to hide from my camera, stinker!
Cutie! Almost two and I can't believe it!
Livy wanted a picture of this one, it is hard to see but it is a huge grasshopper thing. They named it Hopper and still talk about him.
Tries to comfort people or her babies by saying, "its otay, otay, otay" while patting their backs.
She has combine two words to make one of her most frequent now, come here is now simply "mere."
He wanted to stay at school with the girls the other day when we went to eat lunch and then played outside with them for a little. When we had to go he was crying and I told him he can't stay or I will be so sad if he doesn't come home with me. Don't worry, he had a solution, "You can get a new boy, how about James (a friend from church), he's a boy."
She is very good at saying "I sorry mommy" or who ever she hurts!
She is the best at saying thank you for everything, if I don't say your welcome she waits and says, "mommy...thank you" until I say it.
She loves helping do the laundry, dishes, carrying groceries, sweeping, etc. Cleaning up toys not so much but any of my chores she loves to help.
Is so adorable when she says "stop it" to who ever is doing something she doesn't want. "Stop it mommy, stop it daddy." Very cute in her little voice!
Just watching the bug catchers at work.
Livy has a little word combo too, she calls hand sanitizer, hanitizer. Shortened it right up and now its stuck like that!
Rachel's self proclaimed talent hoola hooping, best in the school she tells me!
She sure looks like she's got it down to problem in the picture!
Livy gets the crazy face when she concentrates to hard!
Ahhh, quiet time playing ipads.
The girls had field day one Friday and they didn't care much for it. We were going to the lake that Friday and taking them out of school early so that is all they could concentrate on once I got there. I wish they would have liked it more, I remember loving my field days!
Our first lake weekend of 2013. Plenty of rock to throw into the water so that's what they did!
Major capipillar and roly poly collecting going on this weekend. I barely heard a peep out of Colt unless he was asking for another cup to put his "best friends" in. Catepillars were his best friends.
They brought some best friends home in a bug cage but filled the bottom with gravel and unfortunately the best friends didn't survive the trip being pummeled repeatedly with the gravel. Let's just say Colt was a little upset. Poor guy.

I agree with Katie! Livy's face was too cute. I also liked reading about what Elli is saying now.:) I also laughed out loud when I read about Colt telling you to get a new boy so he can stay with the girls..little squirt!!
