Psillos Gathering in Austin

The weekend before Memorial Day all of us Psillos' met up at the Williams' lake house in Austin. It was again so much fun and I just love hanging out with everyone! And again it was too short, but what vacation isn't? The girls were puking right up until a few hours before we left for the lake house and we considered cancelling the whole trip for fear of continued barfing and little Zeke getting it. Sad to say there was a little more puking once we got there and poor Hannah got it too but glad that Zeke and Colt stayed healthy. And I'm so glad we didn't cancel it because everyone had so much fun. It is great to get together.
Zekey enjoying the water! Or dealing with it at least! It was my first time to see Zeke and he is such a cute happy baby. He is so tiny and it was so strange to hold such a munchkin again! I now realize Colt is a giant.

The girls loved holding Zeke for about 30 seconds at a time. Livy said he is about the size of a penguin. And she has held lots of them so she would know!
Erin came to Texas a few days before Richie to visit her brother and his family. So her brother dropped her off at the lake house and came in to say hi. The girls have met him before but didn't remember. Rachel got so upset when he came in with Erin. She held onto my leg and was crying. After he left she said "Why does Richie look so different now?" Poor kid thought it was her Richie because he came with Erin. She was quite scared for a minute! But happy as ever to see her real Rich the next morning. It took Livy a little to remember everyone's names. She came into the shower the next morning and told me "Someone is here, it is the guy that goes with Erin." Couldn't quite remember his name right away! But she's got the couples down!
The kids loved being on the boat dock when they were feeling good. Livy was fine the whole time we were there but Rachel was up and down. She spent a good chunk of time resting on the couch. They still wouldn't go on the tube but they did like riding in the boat and watching others.

They lake had dropped so much that the guys were trying to move some big rocks so the boat dock could sit flat. It was a challenge to walk down to it now and they did get this big one moved over just enough. Eric almost took a bad spill here!

Poppy was a favorite among the kiddos as usual! They just love seeing and playing with everyone when we get together. Thanks everyone for being so helpful, fun and loving. They really love you guys.
And Colt was quite entertaining. He loves saying "cheese" for the camera and learned to say "what happened" with his hands in the air, while we  were there.
Zeke loved the boat. He went on almost every ride and was so good. He took lots of naps on the boat too.

For a boy who doesn't sit still he was so good on the boat. He was mesmerized watching everyone being pulled behind the boat.

Tube Wars.

Some game time. Catch phrase was a favorite this trip and we had quite a few good laughs. Just for memories: tequila, lead foot, and candy striper.
What a cute family!

Aunt Hannie had lots of people to give attention to this trip!
The girls really getting into babies!

The second set of pictures will be up soon! What a fun time. Thanks Alan and Brenda for letting us meet there and enjoy the awesome place. Unfortunately we came home to bring Rae to the doctor and see if she was all better but Livy got a fever when we got home so we didn't get to go back with all the Williams' family for Memorial Day weekend. We were really bummed but we didn't want to get everyone there sick. Come to find out a two weeks later, when Colt is dealing with the same fever and cough, that it is croup. So I feel better that we didn't go but still sad that the girls missed out on so much fun with all the cousins. Next time I guess.

It was unfortunate the rugrats were sick and that Colt is now sick :(

I love the last two photos. The action shot of Livy is classic. I also love that one of all the kids together. I remember Colt pushing his little arms through the bars and just letting out the random screams. Too cute. I can't believe next year there will be another Williams babe there with us.

Oh man Jess you had me laughing pretty good on this post! Poor Zeke is nursing right now and I kept startling him off because I was laughing so hard. Candy Stripper...hahaha! That trip was so fun but too short!! Hopefully we can do it again in September!
