Meet Ellie!

Let me introduce Ellie! She was born on Friday, June 10th at 8:02 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 9 ozs. and measured 21 inches long. She is an angel! We are so very blessed to have her here in our family. I can't express how much I love her already, it is absolutely crazy how that happens! We sure are glad you are here Ellie!

We were scheduled at 7 a.m. but an emergency c-section came in so we got bumped back just a little. The anesthesiologist was awesome and let my mom in too. The rule is one support person in the OR but it was so great to have here there as well as Eric. If only they let in more, sorry Dad! Dad got to come in to see us in the recovery room. It was so great to have you both there with us.

I am so grateful to have Eric by my side through all of this. I really couldn't do it without him.

Look at those neck muscles! She wasn't even an hour old! Poor kid was mad at something!

Rachel, Livy, and Hannah can't get enough of holding her. They were all so excited and nothing but smiles to see their new little sister. They are always asking about her and wanting to change her clothes. They can't contain their excitement! I am so happy that they are thrilled with her! Colt could care less. The best part about coming to the hospital for him was playing with the curtain. He barely gave me the time of day in the hospital but has come to love me again since we got home!

She has been such an awesome baby so far. I know that could change but we are enjoying it for now! We just love you little Ellie!

I can't believe that when I found out I was pregnant I wasn't jumping off the walls. Now when I look at her I am so super ecstatic about having her here that I would give anything for her. Heavenly Father sure knows best.

#4, he's a pro! Eric stayed with me in the hospital both nights and most of the days. It was fun just to have so alone time with him and Ellie. We spent most of the time trying to decide on a name and I want to thank him for giving in to me! Ellie was my pick! Thanks for being a great dad and husband. I love you!

With Grammy and Poppy here they kids have been so loved and entertained. Hannah and Jovi, an awesome babysitter they brought with them to help out, have also been huge helps. The kids have been swimming a ton and can now actually do some swimming. I can't believe how much they have improved while we were in the hospital!

Twice I have tried to get a picture of her with a bow on and this is what happens before I can grab the camera again!

We are so happy you are here Ellie. We love you so much and are so grateful for our Father in Heaven and his plan for us and our family. He sure knows best and knows we were missing you here. We are so happy to have you here in our arms.
