A Little Here and There

Here's some in between stuff from March and April that fell through the cracks! There are lots of cracks around here to get lost in!

Messy little girl!

Loving the hot tub with dad. Now its pool time!

Rachel with her favorite tilted head pose now a days!

My favorite sweaty little boy! He was so hot and sweaty, with dirt and snot smeared on his face he just made me laugh. Playing hard.

I don't know why they like to tilt their heads like this......5 years old.........

Ellie is always helping me with my chores. Her favorite is laundry, throwing it all over the ground!

Livy is an expert at tying ropes, always has been. Tied her self a dad today!

She also caught this butterfly by the wing and brought it inside for us to see. We got it back outside and it did get away!

This is the butterfly house that she made with Rachel the day before. They put it in there for a minute but didn't understand why she didn't want to stay in there. Rachel's favorite name for anything now a days is butterfly. Livy's is sparkle. If they are pretending to be someone or a puppy those are always their names, sometimes they throw a color in with it, blue sparkle.

Still hooked on the bottles, it's getting worse as you can see.

From early March, we went to dinner at Pappasitos for the girls birthday with Grandma and Grandpa Williams. They loved getting sung to and having their own big brownie sundae!

This is when Ellie started smiling for the camera when I asked her to. Such a cutie!

She's Up and Running...

Well, not exactly running, but she's up and walking all over the place! I think she is officially a walker now. She still falls a lot and has lots of bumps on her face to prove it, but she can walk from one end of the house to the other with out falling sometimes too. She can get up in the middle of the floor without pulling up on stuff and bend over to pick toys up while she is moseying along! She loves playing in this little play house and going in and out, of course she loves the dog cage and dog bed, and she can't get enough of the stairs! She is so cute walking around with her arms out strait and her feet wide. I could watch her all day!

She loves opening the drawers to empty them on the floor, is babbling a lot more now a days, says mama, waves with a closed fist now, gets really angry when she can't have the keys ( I have to try and hide them from her, she hits me and pulls my hair!), sleeps with a paci and her silky blanky, and really loves tearing all of the girls pajamas out of the cabinet until she finds some silky ones and then takes off with them. Funny girl! She is wearing all of the girls clothes and they are mostly "well worn" but i love putting them on her because it brings back good memories.

She loves her family! She lights up when she sees anyone in the family and loves getting kisses from them and waving goodbye to them at bed time. She is quick to smile and all the kids love to hold her and walk with her. She is tough too, she's got to be with Colt picking on her all the time! She always smushes her blankey in my face when it is bed time trying to give me a rub, and always shares her paci with me, such a sweetie! I love you Ellie! I can't believe how fast this year has gone, only one month until you are one! We are so happy you are here and part of our family!

My Flower Girl

Rachel is just the cutest when it comes to showing me she loves me. She doesn't go outside any time without picking a flower for me. She always hands it to me and tells me she loves me. Colt and Olivia usually follow suit but Rachel is the one, my flower girl. She picks any kind she sees and always wants me to hang on to it. Oh I love you Rachel!

She is growing up, or should I say grown up! She loves clothes now and likes to pick her own stuff, and give me some modeling moves as you can see in these next pictures! She loves music: Justin Bieber and especially One Direction. She still says the funniest things and I wish I wrote more down.

She didn't want to eat her carrots the other night and I told her she needs to eat them, she never eats vegetables anymore. Rachel says, "Yes I do, I eat the broccoli every time we get Chinese food." Can't get anything by her!

She tries to get me to give her candy all day long, she tells me not to drink diet pepsi, she still sucks her thumb and loves her cat. She is the meanest in the middle of the night when she is sick, she orders you around and yells at you with this attitude, I can't help but laugh at her, poor kid. She still likes to be the boss of Livy and usually chooses to go to her room instead of cleaning up, she doesn't mind taking a nap! She's still got a recall that amazes me, and her vocabulary too.

She loves barbies, music, icarly, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, polly pocket, playing with friends and dogs. She continues to amaze me as she loves to collect bugs, play dinosaurs, and tells me she would rather play soccer than dance. I love that she loves so many different things but I never know what she will like next because those are the things I would never have guessed for her last year! She likes more "adult" food like shrimp, fish, chili, and steak better than typical kid foods. And most of all she loves her sister. It is amazing to see them at night, they always end up snuggled right next to each other. I guess it feels like home to them.

Puerto Rico, sin ninos!

Mid-March Eric and I got to go to Puerto Rico with my parents, siblings and spouses. It was such a great trip! Rachel, Livy, and Colt stayed with Eric's parents and Ellie stayed with friends of ours, the Iveys. What an amazing thing it is to go away without kids!! Sorry kiddos, I love you more than anything but it was so nice to just sit if I wanted to or swim, or read, or sleep, or do anything I wanted to! Thank you so much for keeping the kids Grandma and Grandpa and the whole Ivey family! You made it so easy for us to relax when we knew they were in such good hands, thank you thank you!

Here are a bunch of pictures from the trip. Not in any particular order. It was a great week of sun, surfing, sunburns, games, eating, scuba diving, property searching, paddle boarding, birthday partying, mafia guessing, puzzling, and most of all laughing. Thank you so much for the awesome trip mom and dad! What a great idea and get away!
