July started off so great! Baby Edee was born July 2nd and is a perfect adorable healthy little girl. We are all so thrilled she is here and everyone is doing well and Josh and Katie have another wonderful little girl! Congrats guys!
Next was Hannah's birthday! Happy 13th birthday beautiful Hannah! We love you so much! We are so lucky to have such a loving, beautiful, smart, talented, strong, cool, fun and awesome sister and aunt in our family!
Hannah's birthday and 4th of July party in New York, we were sad to miss it but got to go to the lake and have a great weekend there.
I don't know why I don't have more pictures of swimming and fun this weekend but they spent lots of time trying to get on Grandpa's new huge raft and swimming back and forth to the dock.

Cousins + Candy= As Good As It Gets
Fun day together at Lake Travis going to the parade and collecting candy, playing, swimming and fireworks!
4th of July on Lake Travis! We took the boat out and found fireworks all over the place. What a fun tradition to go see the fireworks like this!
We headed to New York just a few days later for a few weeks of cousins, swimming, fires and fun!
We went to a little farm place with the Rathgebers and got to see them for a day or so before they all headed out. It was sad not to have them around all vacation but it was great to see them for a little. I'm so happy we are still so close them and get to see them once a year at least. We used to get to see all of our cousins at the reunion every summer in New York and it was the best time of year getting together like that. It has faded away the past few years with everyone having kids and real jobs now but I will always remember the reunions we had and love all those cousins of mine.

We all slept in the basement together this trip, kids all over the floor and we got Johnson to come down every night and stay with us. It was special. We knew he wasn't doing great but didn't know how much longer he had so it was special to have him down there with us, such a good dog. He made it until the end of September. So sad. So glad he came down and stayed with us.
Colt was so excited to have Johnson sleep right next to him. He loves that dog. He got so upset when he found out that Johnson was my dog first. He was in tears asking why I didn't keep him at our house and have him and wanting to take him home. It's my fault we never got to have him live with us he said. It's true, it is my fault, I missed him too. Sorry Colty!
It was Uncle Bobby's birthday while we were there and got to go visit his grave with Grandma while we were there. I got to watch some home videos from when I was little and he was alive. It was great seeing and hearing him because I forgot what he was like in real life. I love videos.

Best buddies reunited again! It has been too long but luckily they picked up right were they left off last summer and were glued to each other again!
The girls wanted to sew doll clothes but I have no sewing skills so this is what we came up with, clothes cut from washcloths and hand sewed, they were happy they got to do that and proud of their works so it was perfect. Hopefully one day I may know how to sew something and be able to teach them!

Fires, fireflies, marshmallows with all these fun people make for great nights together. One of the funnest times of the years, their backyard is perfect for all the kids adventures and fun they could need!
Little Annie was born while we were there! I am so excited for Alli and Derek and their new little girl!
Josh graduated and started his new job! We missed them in New York but were so happy for them and all the new adventures they were starting with little Ede and a new career!
