We have had lots of crazy weather in Texas but this was the first hail storm I have experienced here. This picture was in the middle of it, by the end the ground was covered in little ice balls. Kind of cool to see but not for everyone who got roof damage around here.
Ellie had a Mother's Day program at her school and it was adorable! They had a little fashion show and she chose beach wear and wore her bathing suit with a tutu on it with her sunglasses, it was really cute :) Then they sang some cute songs. I loved it, so very cute to hear them and see how into it she was!
My cute, beautiful, theatrical little girl!
Colt started baseball and although he doesn't look it he was really excited about it! Once we got there he got kind of shy and very quiet but loved having a chance to try it out and play. He is such a cutie and I loved getting to take him to something of his own, he liked that.
He was pretty shy but really liked going.
Rachel's first family home evening on her own. She had a great lesson in church that she loved and wanted to show the kids. Great job Rae!
We took a trip down to Galveston one day. We went to a different beach where we had to had to take a ferry over to the beach. I never expected to see dolphins jumping in the water in Galveston but we did! It was a fun little ride watching for them!
A fun afternoon playing in the water. Galveston is perfect for them with all the small waves and shallow water.
Colt is into wearing two little pony tales on the top of his head, his horns he calls them.
Checked out an old fort, too bad the bunker was locked up, looked old and cool.
On the way home we stopped to pick up some pizza and Colt was watching out the sunroof, he saw someone smoking and said "Oh mom, someone is using a smoker, that's bad! He just threw it on the ground! I've been keeping an eye on him!" I am going to be really sad when they don't say funny things to me anymore.
Mother's Day! The kids are getting really good at decorating and giving special days now! They are so excited and into it. So sweet. I am very blessed to have these four awesome kids and experience life with them, it makes it so much more meaningful, crazy, exhausting, amazing, and wonderful. And to have an amazing mother who showed me the way and is still my greatest example and supporter. There are so many wonderful women in my life who have all loved and guided me in different ways, so many things to be grateful for this mothers day and everyday.
Colt had a great end of the year program at his school, Jungle Jamboree for all the 4 year olds. He sang some entertaining songs and looked really happy, so fun to watch him performing, happy but serious! Dad was able to make it which is always the best!
Ballet time! Colt told someone that Ellie didn't take ballet. Ellie didn't miss a beat replying with "Well I feel ballet in my heart!"
Colt lost his first tooth!
Dad helping Colt at baseball, so cute watching them out there together.
Silly kids on a Sunday afternoon, I love kid pictures in great light!
All done with Preschool! I can't believe this boy is going to kindergarten soon! How has he grown up so fast into such a funny, smart, loving boy. I don't want him to go. But he is totally ready for it.
Livy took a selfie and sent it go Grammy to show her all her missing teeth! Quite the crazy funny mouths we have going on around here!
We got to take a trip to Dallas to visit my cousins! Alli and Lily were visiting so we got to see them also which is a great treat since we barely get to see them ever! The kids all played great together, I love our quick get togethers!
Girls late night movie to Cinderella! We loved it! What a fun thing to get to do and bring my girls along, they are getting so old!
Mud buddies.
Charlie and Michelle got to see Lane, Julie and Beckham the same days we were in Dallas with Alli and Cassie, I love everyone meeting up all over the place whenever they can. Living near each other growing up and having these great relationships has been such a blessing. Love these guys.
Forts, park time, building a "fire", strollers, collecting stuff and just pretty much anything fun!
Richie taking this reading assignment very seriously! I have the best brothers, they are such great dads and husbands!

Lots of Chic-fil-A these days and lots of play dates! I love that they have cousins their ages and love playing together.
We had lots of rain so had to head up to the lake house to check on stuff. The boat dock has risen almost to where it was when they bought the house, 60 steps up are now covered in water!
The jet ski also broke lose, so lucky it was still there when we got there!
My little face maker!
Beauty.
The boat dock is all put back together and in good shape now.
Beautiful views, pretty amazing every day.
Doing some fishing!
