We had a great, fun, awesome, special busy month in March!
We started with Rachel and Livy's 8th birthday! They are getting so old so quick, it is awesome and sad at the same time :)
Birthday strings and windows :) Rachel, Livy and their cousin Zeke share the same birthday. Erin texted me this year saying it's nice to know someone else is up late hanging birthday strings and decorating at the same time!
Two happy girls! Livy got this Toothless hat for her birthday and wore it for a few weeks strait!
When you squeeze the bottom the ears flip up, she loved it!
They love their sisters :) Ellie always talks about when she can do stuff like her "big sisters." It's the cutest! And Colt just can't wait to go to kindergarten at the same school as the girls.
Our sweet friend Carol was home from Saudi Arabia for a few days and came to breakfast with us for the girls birthday, such a sweet and awesome friend!
Jamie put this together and put it on Facebook on their birthday and I just loved it, thanks Aunt Jamie! I loved learning about twins from you and letting our girls grow up together. I wish we got to see you as much as when they were little but so glad for the memories of four adorable little girls running around!
Lunch at school with the birthday girls!
Dad surprised them by going to IT'Z for dinner and fun!
BFF necklaces
Duct tape birthday crowns from the Ellsworths!
Their late over with some of their favorite friends!
Open house at school was the right after their birthdays and we got to go see all the amazing things they were doing this year. These are "If you were in a snow globe" stories! I love seeing all the things they have been working on and reading their stories. They are so imaginative and so different!
Pebbles favorite past time, chewing the lids off bottles.
Just some spring time pics of the kids. I honestly can't believe how big and grown up they are getting every day. I wish I could freeze it and have a long time to enjoy these ages. They play so good together most of the time, we have no diapers, not many night time wakes ups, they can all dress themselves and make their own toast if they are hungry and still love being with us! It is not going to get much better than this right now. So fun and uncomplicated for now.
Livy and her group of six animals she needs to go to sleep. She piles them all in there and once they are in she stays like that until she falls asleep!
Colt and Ellie moved into a room together and got new loft beds. Perfect height for a play area and junk storage! They do ok together in there, in the beginning Ellie wouldn't let Colt go to sleep and he would cry because he was so tired but now they've gotten the hang of it.
Rachel and Livy's baptism! What a great special day! Lots of family and love for these two wonderful girls. We are so blessed to have them in our family and love them so much!
In the baptism suits and after at our house.
Chris and Cassie were able to come down as well as Grammy and Poppy and we were so happy they could all be here for their special day. Love these guys.
It is awesome getting so much cousin time with them after years of being deprived of it!! The girls can't get enough Mikey and everyone plays so good together!
After the baptism was spring break and we had fun with Grammy and Poppy and the Ellsworths!
Here is a trip to the mounted patrol police unit. The kids had so much fun going up and down feeding all the horses, such a great place.
Children's museum is always fun!
We did have some throw ups but still managed to have a great time :) And luckily Grandparents didn't get it!
We are so lucky to have so many awesome grandparents. Truly the best.
Another spring break adventure. How fun is that to feed baby goats!!
This month we started gymnastics and they love it. Every morning they ask if it is gymnastics day!
Since the girls turned 8 they get to go to Activity Days at the church with the girls their age. It is twice a month after school and they work on goals for their Faith in God awards. This was their first time and they had so much fun. They were over joyed to go since I am one of the leaders for the older girls and they have seen me going the past year and were so happy to have their turn!
They are loving going to the library lately and bring their rolling backpacks to fill up for the week!
Group gymnastics in the kitchen, sweet!
Eric and I took Rae and Liv to the Rodeo! It was their first time and seemed to love it. They watched all the events but didn't love when the animal looked mad, bull riding, or when it looked like the animal was getting hurt, steer wrestling. The women's barrel racing was their favorite! And seeing all the baby animals that were born at the rodeo!
And they loved all the snacks of course!
We had great seats way down low near the dirt so they had a great view.
A long fun night for these two ladies. I sure love getting to do fun stuff with them!
Next was my birthday! The girls got up and decorated for my birthday by themselves and made cards and gifts that were the cutest. Such a fun age they are, I really love it! So sweet and thoughtful and happy.
Trying to protect my cupcake from the trouble maker!
I've sure got a lot of blessings. Great birthday with my family.
These were some of the decorations on the window. Most were nice and one was a joke it says "old, sike." Funny kids!
Colt had a superhero lunch at his school where all the Dads came and were celebrated for being the kids heroes. Colt sure loved having his daddy there. I was helping with the lunch so I got to be there an see them. Love those boys!
Just a day at the park with these two while the girls were off at the movies with their friend. I ran a little and they chased me back and forth across the field, fun little squirts.
Other great news in March! Josh got a full time firefighter job! Woohoo, way to go Josh!! So awesome!
Mr. Zeke had his 4th birthday and a fun slip n slide!
All of Grandmas kids got to come visit her and spend time together. What a great group. Love all these people! I'm so glad I was able to have my Grandparents live so close to me growing up, what a great blessing.
