January 2015

Ellie's first day of primary! She is a Sunbeam now and loved going with the big kids. There is only her and one other little girl in their class. The other girls has some dietary restrictions so for snack they can only have fruit and that was the worst part for Ellie, no good snacks she says! "My teacher had no candy in her purse because she gave us strawberries!"

Uncle Danny's birthday! Dan loves being shot at with the nerf guns so for his birthday he had a party at the church where everyone got to play shoot Dan! He has his eye gear this time, perfect!
Happy Birthday Dan!

I forget how little she is still until I find her asleep suddenly, such a cutie!
Livy's first family home evening on her own! It is so fun watching them learn and be excited about teaching. Great job Liv, you are such a wonderful girl!

Livy built this fun little character from boxes and her imagination! She always has those wheels turning and put this together by herself. It has a string sticking out the side that when you pull it the "animals mouth" (fruit container) opens up! Fun little invention for her and great problem solving going on here. We love your awesome imagination Livy!
Colt was riding a skate board on his stomach and got a little too close to the ground with is face, oops. He was fine after a few minutes, I'm glad he couldn't see the blood though because he had two major freak outs right after this from tiny cuts bleeding on his hand and toe. Through sobbing and tears "I think I'm going to die because my blood is coming out." We may have a small problem here to deal with!
Big month for our Livy! She earned her Star Reader t-shirt all by herself and totally surprised me! She had to read 45 points worth of books and take quizzes on them with her extra time at school and she had her mind set on doing it! I love how much she started loving to read and how proud she was that she got her shirt! We are so proud of you Liv and how you set your mind to a goal and go after it,  you are awesome!
She also got to be student of the week in January.
Name three super cool facts about yourself: 1. I love animals! 2. I am friendly 3. I have an awesome twin
I am a star because: my family is awesome

We are so luck to have the Thompsons only a few hours away and get to see each other often. The kids play so well together and I is always fun getting to hang with my bestie :)
The kids got to go Christmas shopping with Grandma all by themselves. What a fun time together! Nothing beats Grandma time!
Baby Michael, 4 months old! How cute is he! And he is such a good boy, we all love having him around and the kids think he is the coolest, they want another baby!
Grandma and Grandpa Williams got called on a two year service mission for the church. They are serving as the managers of the Bishop's storehouse here in Houston. We are so excited for them and know how wonderful they will be at this! They will be missed at Pool Works but luckily they are still here in Houston so we get to see them and they can still go into Pool Works when they want to. This was not their plan to do a mission right now and they were asked to stop working and serve right now, what wonderful examples of obedience, sacrifice and service. We sure are blessed to have them and all this wonderful family around. Set apart day 2/1/2015.
Ellie had a visit from the fire truck to her school and I got to be there to help out. I love getting to be there for the kids in the things they get to see and do at school. Thanks Eric for always working and allowing me to be home with our great kids.
This is Rachel's happy place! She loves being with us but she has a new love for being with friends! She has many BFF signs in her room that say Rachel and Jenna BFF! I love seeing her bloom and gain confidence and loving having friends, friends are so much fun! I'm so glad that splitting Rachel and Livy into different classes this year has been a great way for them and led them to grow on their own in different ways. An added bonus is that she has quite a few good friends from her class and church.

Park day with Colt and Ellie. The weather is perfect this week and we are out using their bikes. Colt cruises way faster than Ellie and I so we usually have to cut across the grass to catch up to him!

These kids are so fun together, they all play so great together.
We went up to visit Cass and Chris and most of the munchkins had a sleepover on Luke's floor. Reminds me of when me and Cass were little.
Ellie had to bring a picture of her favorite type of community helper to school this week, she chose a firefighter, her Uncle Josh!
Colt named his baby Ocean. He carried it around for a few weeks just like the girls and their babies. He gets the difference that he is a dad though and doesn't try and nurse his baby like the girls do!
Ellie is mastering folding small towels, I love you my good helper!
Two teeth down. Both pull out by Livy herself with a string! I love toothless kids :)
