We had a great Thanksgiving vacation week. It started off with a camping trip in the new RV! The kids and Eric are over joyed excited having an RV to travel in and I am trying to gain the enthusiasm for it as well! It happened to be raining, windy, and about 40 degrees-cold for here, I wasn't ready for that!
Driving I wouldn't have known we were in Texas, there were lots of trees that were changing colors, not a very good pictures though.

Kids hanging out on the drive there.

It was freezing and wet everywhere so we weren't outside much but I got one fun picture of Colt enjoying the fire for just a few minutes!

We went with our new friends the Ellsworths and had an awesome time hanging out!

The mastermind driving his big rig!

During the week we got to visit our friend Sister Peterson and she was very kind and patient with them and baked cookies and muffins and they were all so happy! They love going to see Sister Peterson and have a another person listen to them chatter for a while!

The night before Thanksgiving we got to go to the movies to see Frozen with Grandma and Grandpa and Kevin and April's family. I think it is a great pre-Thanksgiving tradition! Everything is funner when you have cousins and friends with you!

Movie pictures! Ellie was sitting in between Grandma and Grandpa and did great sitting through the whole movie. She got so into it, yelling loudly at the screen when something bad happened or when she was concerned, so funny!

Miss Ellie decided she wanted to be dressed up for Thanksgiving, she looked adorable! Thanks for the dress Aunt Cassie, I love it! We had a fun day at Grandma and Grandpa's with some of the family, some were out of town and some poor people were sick.

Colt's Thanksgiving preschool hat!

Livy and Rae came to Activity Days with me and one of the crafts were these cute pine cone turkeys, what a happy bright girl you are Livy!
We also got to have a fun play date with Rilynn! She was in the girls kindergarten class and moved so they don't get to see her much now. She is one of the girls favorite friends so they are always happy to get to play with her.
Rachel made this card for the troops during our activity days activity. I love her trying to keep up with the older girls and spell everything herself. "You are my Hero. Whoops, the tree is tipping."
"You are awesome!" No you are awesome Rachel! I love your sweet spirit :)
I am sure thankful for the great week we had together, even the rough times, it was fun having the kids around and Eric even got to be home a little more than normal with all the cold weather :) So many things to be thankful for this time of year!
