Mother's Day weekend we went to Sea World again this year. It was fun to go do it but like always, a ton of work and less sleep than normal! They couldn't wait to get there and the first night we just played in the splash pad for a little and then headed back to the hotel for swimming and dinner. They loved that just as much. Our room faced the wall where they played the outdoor movie so while we got ready for bedtime they could watch Finding Nemo from the balcony. They love staying at hotels!
Colt couldn't get enough of the sharks. I think that was his favorite! Ellie loved the huge tanks and watching all the swimming stuff. I didn't even try for that many pictures this trip, too much work with too much going on!
This set of pictures is from the Shamu show. As you can see Colt and Ellie were the ones who were way into it. The girls liked everything we saw and say that feeding the dolphins was their favorite thing they did.
Colt was way excited and clapping and screaming the whole time again! I love that he loved it so much! Ellie just kept reaching out her arms to them like she does when she wants to get something.
And saying "oooooooooo"
Love this gang!
Nice one Colt!
A good girl as always and loved seeing everything and all the commotion around!
Four bugs in a bed! Luckily we got a big room so sleeping was better than last trip but it is still not home!
Rachel jumped out of the picture at the last minute. She got a little scared of those guys!
I think this was the girls favorite thing there, even though the dolphins were their favorite animal there! They rode this like 10 times in a row and we were so lucky that Colt just made it on, barely, but he got on and loved it too!
Thrill seekers! I love them having so much fun together!
I gave up my seat to Eric after the 5th ride!
Daddy loves the roller coasters and was so happy that the kids are finally getting old enough to like them.
They did it! Rachel and Livy rode this huge water ride with Eric! Rachel was a little upset because she didn't want to get wet but ended up loving it once she was done! Colt was devastated that he couldn't go on but an ice cream made it mostly better! Way to go girls! We are so proud of you for going and trying something new and a little scary! You are going to have so much fun with dad next year when we go again! They've got the bug now. They wanted to try more and more but we ran out of time!
Happy Mother's Day 2012!
Thanks for a fun weekend Eric!
Olivia, Rachel, Colt, and Ellie. I love you so very much and I thank Heavenly Father every day for you and that I am your mom. I don't want to pretend it is not hard because it is but luckily it is amazing too! Nothing is all roses, right?! I love you all so much and I thank you for helping me become a better mom each day and for loving me no matter what. I sure do love each one of you. You are all so special to me.
I have the most amazing mom! She is always so supportive and encouraging and doing all she can to help me in any way that I need it. She is always helping someone and she is an amazing example to me of so many things that I want to be. I hope my kids can feel that way one day about me, I know I have a long long way to go! I feel like I could never thank you enough for doing all that you do in being my mom. Thank you mom. I love you so much!
And I am so grateful to have my mother in law close by. It is hard being away from my parents but so nice to have his parents near by. Thank you so much for all you do for me Brenda and all that you help us with! We really appreciate and love you.
