Backtrack to before New York

I didn't get to post this stuff before we went to New York so now I am back tracking. Ellie had her two month appointment at 6 weeks since we were going to be gone. She weighed in at 13 lbs. 2 oz. She was 22" long. So she is the biggest baby so far. Colt was 13 lbs. 5 oz. at two months so I am sure she gained another 3 oz. in the next two or three weeks.
Nice bugged eyed picture! Rachel used to make the same faces that Ellie does. I think that she looks most like Rachel as a baby and that seems to be the consensus so far.

She seemed to be uncomfortable and fussy a bit after she ate for a while but now she seems all better. She still gets the hiccups a lot, poor kid. And she loves to be held but honestly what baby doesn't?

She is a great baby and we love her so much. You definitely make me want more babies Ellie! You are the easiest one, all the others are hard!
The kids just hanging out playing and fooling around. We don't leave the house much now but they seem to be pretty happy.

Ellie rarely cries. She really is a good baby. She obviously did not want me taking her pictures right then!
Just checking things out. She still has blue eyes. Rachel's started out this way too but turned brown by now I think so we will just have to see where Ellie's go!
I love snuggling with her at night. It is an uninterrupted snuggle time even though I have a hundred things to do when the other kids get to bed, it is so fun to just sit and let her sleep on me. I try and get my fill in at night because during the day I don't get to hold her as much as I would like.
Ellie and mom, 6 weeks old.

Chubby little gal! Eric does this thing where he squeezes the kids cheeks and says "squishy puffy cheeks." Now Colt does it to Ellie. He grabs her cheeks and says "quishy" and I can't help but laugh.

He is always trying to help with Ellie. He loves her and tries to hug her and sometimes gets a little too rough but that is what big brothers do right?

Just hanging out!

We love you so much Ellie! You are so sweet and such a good baby. We are so happy you are part of our family! The girls can't wait for you to get older and play with them and Colt loves you just like you are!

Muah!

love to see how the other siblings love the new babies. so adorable how colt is taking ellie under his wing :)! So glad Ellie is the easiest baby so far. After 4 kids you deserve a bit of a break. But I'm sure in the next few months she'll start giving you a run for your money just like the others! We love you beautiful little Ellie!
