A Wonderful Present!

A few weeks ago we got a wonderful gift, well, really I did but the girls loved it too. I have had quite a few gifts like this the past few months and I loved all of them, thanks Mom and all of you who came to help! My brother Charlie and his girlfriend Michelle came back to visit us and to help me get stuff done. It was wonderful!! I got so much done that was forever building on my to do list and they did tons of babysitting. Like I said I got all of my stuff done and loved it, and the girls got to play all the time and had so much fun. They still ask "Where's Charlie and Shelle?" quite regularly. Rachel was of course attached to Charlie like normal and Livy was definitely more into Michelle. Thanks so much guys. I can't tell you how great it was to have you here and for all of your help. Just to show you how much I was out and about I didn't get one picture from their trip. Lame. Anyway, these are from their first trip when they were driving cross country from Michelle's camera.

We went to Meyer Park to feed the ducks and rats, or whatever these things are. Texas rats as my parents call them. One of these guys almost got Michelle's toes while she was taking pictures!

Another wonderful present! Here in Texas we don't get much snow so it was a sweet surprise for everyone here to get some snow. As you can see I am not talking "real" snow because there is none on the ground but "snow" for Texans!
