Ellie's 2!

Ellie turned two in June! Like I have said so many times before, how did that go so fast!! She is a regular little lady now and is always trying to do everything for herself. She is always busy and getting into stuff but she makes us laugh a lot. She is such a fun, spunky, adorable girl and we are so happy to have her in our family!

Enthusiastic, bossy, loud, funny, energetic, and smiley little girl!

Her birthday started with some presents and the traditional birthday candy and money hanging from the window, Colt helped her clear that off pretty quickly!

I had decorated all over the living room for her with streamers and stuff but Colt and her ripped it all down before I could even get a picture to document the birthday!

We went to a jump place with some of our cousins and Ellie was thrilled! She loved playing with Livy and the slide was her favorite. 

Happy Birthday in chicken nuggets! She didn't really understand the idea that it was her birthday until it was cake time at dinner. Then she kept saying "my birthday, my birthday." Even for a few weeks after when anyone would mention a birthday she would say "my birthday!" I will have to start prepping her a few weeks ahead of time next year so she gets the idea more on her actual birthday!

Ellie has loved a pair of plastic handcuffs of Rachel's so I got her some for her birthday but it happened to be in a pack with sheriff stuff and she ended up liking the fake gun instead! She chased Colt around the house all day yelling "shoot, shoot, shoot" at him with the gun and they were both laughing hysterical. I think that was my favorite part of the day. I love when they have so much fun together and are happy. 

Ellie loves her spaghetti so we went to Olive Garden for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa! She is a happy girl with spaghetti and family!

We went home and had her butterfly cake that Livy designed for her.

There are the real smiles that I love! Such a happy cute girl with so much personality and such a love for her family. She does great as the youngest sibling as she is always trying to keep up with the rest of them and acts as if she is as old as them!

We sure love you Ellie. I hope you had a great birthday and we are so happy you are in our family!

We had a monthly birthday celebration for all the June birthdays in the Williams family. Grandpa, Ellie, McKay, Katelyn, and Lexie all got to celebrate that night!

Baby dolls are still one of her favorite toys, that and iphones! Her new walking baby sort of scares me sometimes, I see her standing there out of the corner of my eye and get a quick fright! But she likes it, thanks Grandma!

End of the School Year!!

This was the last day of kindergarten! Woohoo! They were happy to be done with school but sad to leave Ms. Ford and their class.

A Visit with Grandma

The last weekend of May Cassie, Colbie, Becky, Davey, and I headed out to California to visit Grandma Barbara and Aunt Barbara and Uncle John. We usually have a family reunion every summer in New York but Grandma wasn't feeling up to traveling this year so we weren't going to see her in New York so we headed out to see her for two quick days. It was an awesome trip and we were spoiled by Aunt Barbara and Uncle John! They shuttled us back and forth, cooked for us, and took us to their favorite restaurant Salsa, which was great! 

Late nights of chatting, pool lounging, a visit from Liz, walks with Gilgo, great weather, great food, and great company!

I loved being able to spend time with these cuties without any other kids around! It was so fun and relaxing and just a great time.

It was fun to look through Grandma's scrap books and see so many pictures from through our lives. We really were so blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa live so close to us and be so involved in our lives growing up. They are awesome fun supportive and loving grandparents and I'm so happy to have so many memories with them. It was so great to see you Grandma, I love you!

Great trip! So glad we did it and that you guys flew with babies to be there. Love you girls and your babies. 

Memorial Day and a Big First for Rachel

Memorial Day weekend we headed up to Austin with Grandpa! It rained the first 24 hours so it was a new kind of adventure up there, but the kids loved it just the same!

Did some fishing and lots of rock throwing, that was Colt and Ellie's favorite! By the time Eric got all the lines untangled and all the poles working they had lost interest! After we got home he talked about throwing rocks at the lake everyday until we went back two weeks later.

The rain didn't stop them one bit!

It cleared up the next afternoon so we got some tubing in. Livy loves the tube and the thrill!

Ellie took a little spin and was happy some of the time!

Rachel was my pet doggy named Sadie for this trip, so dogs don't go on the tube therefore Rachel doesn't go on the tube :)

Colt was quite serious on the tube but was brave for trying this one.

And Grandpa was having a good old time! Rachel told Eric while he was driving the boat "don't throw the old man off!" We had a good laugh at that one! Glad to see Grandpa still enjoying it!

We headed home Sunday and Monday had a swim and shrimp boil at Grandma and Grandpa's house. While swimming Rachel had a big first.............

She lost her first tooth!!! Woohoo!

Big deal around here since we have been watching it every day for a month to see when it would be! I wasn't there yet (I was at home with Ellie who decided to spread her poopy diaper around her room during nap time, cleaning it all up) and when I got there I heard the big news! Unfortunately it happened in the hot tub and we couldn't find it for a long time until magically daddy found it somewhere! Way to go daddy, you made her day! Kind of hard to see where it fell out because her big tooth was already growing in behind the wiggly one. And Ellie I had to write that down so you will understand you did it too when your baby does it!

The tooth fairy left one dollar and a candy, not the toy she and Livy kept insisting that might get left, but highly satisfied none the less! She was pretty thrilled to be the first one to lose a tooth!
