Grammy and Poppy

Josh, Katie, Hannah and Cora held down the fort at home with Dan while Mom and Dad went to Cali for Rachel's wedding. After the wedding they stopped by Houston on their way back for two days and we were busy having fun the whole time! Thanks guys for making it easy for them to go, you guys are great!

We made a trip to the Children's Museum and they couldn't get enough! No one wanted to leave when it was time to go. What an awesome place, we had never been before but will be back for sure!

9 Years

April 17th was our 9 year anniversary!! We got to go out to dinner at Perry's while Grandma and Grandpa babysat, thank you thank you!! 

Just trying to take one picture of us but all of his faces crack me up. I love you Eric and I am so grateful for you as my husband and father to our kids. You are awesome and I love you! 

Next year is the big 1-0!! How did that happen so quickly!

The Months Are Flying By

Finishing April....

Almost two years old! Ellie is such a handful and like any kids gets me worked up easily and the next second I love her so much and she is so adorable! She is very independent and loves to do everything the other kids are. She seems to love being #4! 

After spaghetti I told her to go wash her hands and found her like this! Always exciting here :)

She is like Livy, a junk collector! She wants everything in bed with her even if there isn't room for her then. She loves picking out dresses to wear and calls them "my pretty."

Getting some massages out of the kids, they were experimenting with different toys and stuff from the playroom to see which dad liked best!

Swimming is beginning here and they are very excited to be in the pool and hot tub a lot. It is fun but like anything it is a lot of work and it doesn't last as long as I thought it would!

Colt got to have a super fun "boys day" with Grandma and McKay and Blake! JJ didn't make it but they missed him, these boys are loving seeing each other now and have so much fun chasing each other around. They were busy the whole time with crafts and their favorite, an obsticle course! Thanks Grandma!

April 20th my cousin Rachel got married in California! I was sad not to be there but so happy to see these pictures of them! What a gorgeous bride and beautiful couple! Congrats Rachel and Mattie!

Grammy and Pop got to make it to the wedding and hang out with Rich, Erin, Zeke, and Ezra! So cute! 

Their First Taste of Galveston

We took the kids to Galveston for the day in April. We have only been down here with them one other time when the girls were really little. Today we headed to Pleasure Pier, the rides just behind them in the picture.

They all had a blast and loved the different rides. Colt was able to ride all that the girls were pretty much so that made him a happy brother! Livy went on some adult rides with Eric and was very brave and totally loved the thrill! Rachel's favorite was the swings.

Ellie loved all the rides but not eating at the Rain Forest Cafe! She was petrified of all the animals that looked so real! Here she was keeping her eye on the gorillas. She was mighty quiet at dinner which was one perk! We went on the ride they have in there and by the end all of them were crying or on the floor hiding, I guess we aren't ready for scary animals yet!

Eric thought Colt's crack was hilarious, boy humor! It was a fun day in Galveston!

Blessed

Just some more time at our favorite park. It is always easy to get frustrated with kids or take them for granted but having a friend with a child so sick and then passing away helped me try and slow down and appreciate them for just who they are. I'm blessed to have these guys.

There's a real one!

Rachel had just gotten her hair cut and loved it, looks good Rae!

To check the mail you have to step into the road, he went and got it one day and came back happy to report  "I didn't get squished like a bug!" as I had warned him he could in the road!

He is still working on a sticker chart and I had to take one off for doing something bad the other day and he was crying yelling at me "You take a sticker off my chart you can't be part of the family!" He was very upset and he wanted me to be as well! Poor kid! He told me that for killing a bug the other day too.
