Part Dos

Nice work Dad! Not bad for a 52 year old!

Nap time! Crashed anywhere because they were up late. Not a sleeping vacation for anyone. We didn't get much sleep but it was fun!

Hannie came bearing gifts. Three new puppies for each of the girls just like hers! They loved them and still carry them everywhere with them.

Erin's gift for mom and dad. She used her time in OK to learn new skills such as making beautiful quilts. It came out great.

Water slide at the hotel. We had the place to ourselves since it was during the week and school was still in session. It was really fun for the girls to go and swim.

Colt had his first taste of ice cream while we played volley ball.

That is the end of part two. I think I still have more pictures so maybe I will get them up soon! It sure was a fun little vacation. Wish it could have been longer.

6 Months Old

Half of a year has past since Colt was born! I know I say this every time I write about him, but I really can't believe he is so old!! I just can't get enough of this little guy and his differnt faces. Depending on where I hold the camera he can look so different (baby chub or not). I love this age and I am so excited to have such a fun little guys with us all the time.

6 Month Stats:

27 inches tall-75%

19 lbs. 14.9 oz.-90%

(it was 20 lbs. when we left because he ate after his shots!)

44 cm-50-75% (head)

He is sitting up by himself now which is so great. He'll sit and play for a few minutes by himself so I can run and do something. He has been rolling both ways for the past month and is gettin good at pushing himself up but not on his knees yet.

He loves grabbing my face and chewing and sucking on it.

Very interested in everything that is going on. Tries reaching for everything, and grabs lots out of my hands. Wants to see everything that makes noise and is not wanting to nurse while there is comotion of any kind around. He wants to sit up and see it. Especially his sisters. Still loves watching them and just smiling at them.

Insists on holding the spoon with me while he eats. Loud screams to get your attention now. That is new and hopefully short lived. He loves to laugh and is very ticklish. And of course very smiley.

Theres our happy boy! He is so smiley and happy. He just cut his first tooth yesterday and I didn't even know it!

He babbles a lot and it is adorable. He says "mumum mmmmamama" a lot. All different m sounds and lots sounds like mama, and he does it to get my attention so I think he is saying mama. Eric says he doesn't think so, just thinks he's babbling, but he says, tell yourself what ever you need to to keep getting up with him at night! So to me he says mama! I'm happy and sad that he is already six months old. He's growing up too quickly and I know it is not gonna slow down and I am sad this stage will pass. I love you Colt and I am so happy to be your mom!
